Windows XP Install SP1 Problem
Last response: in Windows XP
I just reinstalled windows xp home and i am trying to install the service pack 1, i can download it from MS and start the install however it stops and says can't contact internet for data, or something like that.
What can i do to install sp1?

Service Pack 1 (SP1) is to old, dates back to 2003, so it may not be entirely available,... why don't you rather install SP3.. it's the same time, effort and it takes up the same amount of disc space,.. and it's a lot more secure http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389
