The ram you selected has standard heatspreaders. The cpu heatsink and the memory sticks will not interfere with each other. It's the memory with the extra tall heatspreaders that sort of look like a comb that are a problem.

Here's a tip - Install the memory sticks first and the heatsink second. It's much easier that way than trying to install the memory sticks under a large heatsink. :)

BTW - That EVGA motherboard looks very classy in plain black. I never cared much for all the bright colors.
