hi
i have a FSP Group Blue Storm II 500W PSU and its output are as follows..

+3.3V@30A,+5V@30A,+12V1@18A,+12V2@18A,
-12V@0.8A,+5VSB@2.5A

..i was wondering if this is enough to power to run a gtx 275 or will i need another PSU ........

thanx in advance

The general rule of thumb is a high quality 500 to 550 watt power supply with sufficient current (amps) on the 12 volt rail(s) can easily power a system with any single video card made.

Here are links to two two technical reviews:

You should be okay!

thanx dude.... i only needed one positive response..all other forums tell me its mandatory to use a PSU rated at 20A per rail or higher, and i was confused coz i managed to run a 8800gt on a 350w PSU and it was way lower than the minimum requirement

Tom's Hardware did a technical review of the GTX275. Here's a link to the chart showing total power consumption at the wall outlet:

The video card manufacturers tend to overestimate power requirements. It is believed they do it because they know there are people who insist on purchasing cheap power supplies of questionable performance and quality.
