Radeon HD 4770

This card comes with a 6 pin power adapter, but the power requirements of the card are low. Can this card perform without the 6 pin power cord?

No it can't unfortunately.

Then again, all you need is a 4-pin to 6-pin molex adaptor and you'll be fine on pretty much any psu.

Here is a card that doesn't need a power connector and its a fairly powerful card.
