How does NCQ effects performance in the SSD?

Native Command Queuing (NCQ) was originally designed to increase the performance of hard disk drives. It is also used to increase the performance of solid state drives. The ssd, motherboard, and operating system all have to support NCQ for it to work properly. If NCQ is not functioning, then ssd performance will decrease. A few processes (not all) might experience a performance decrease as high as 50%. Performance results will vary.
