More about installed identical rams memory works running notebook
  1. Does that laptop officially support more than 1 GB of memory? If so, did you install modules that are compatible with it?

yes manual says up to2GB supported
and i installed same 667FSb 1GB kingston rams. could that happen by with bios or other software.
  3. It can't be software if the BIOS only detects 1 GB of RAM. The manual says up to 2 GB supported, but does it also provide a list of compatible modules? Did you contact the laptop manufacturer to make sure that 2 GB really is supported?
  4. no still i didnt contact manufacturer. it seems better i contact them. Tks
