Upgrade HP Compaq d530 cmt hard drive instructions

I would like to install a 1TB Hitachi SATA drive, while keeping the 80GB drive. Can anyone direct me to where I can get instructions on how to do this? While I am asking, are there any issues installing Windows 7 on this? I would put it on the new drive and would like to keep the XOP on the 80GB drive.

Does your mobo have sata inputs? Some of the d530's dont have sata inputs. Windows 7 runs pretty good on the d530. After you install win7 on the 1tb hdd, windows 7 has a boot loader that will allow you to pick which OS you would like to use. XP will be under "previous versions of windows" Also what video card are you using on it right now? If you are using the integrated intel graphics, I will suggest purchasing an AGP video card with at least 64mb of vram (128mb recommended).
