Inquiring minds want to know....you reviewed the Q8200 and its overclocking abilities (or lack of), then you reviewed the Athlon2 620 but didn't test its overclocking abilities.....Why? Everyone out there interested in this $100 quad either for themselves or customer builds wants to know if its overclockable.
Every processor you review you do a overclock test, why not this one?
Since the cores on the Athlon II series are identical to the Phenom II series im sure they would overclock similarly. This means about 3.8-4ghz on good air cooler.

If it is the same as on PII, since I have that CPU, 3.7-3.8 on stock cooling and voltages, over 4.0 with better cooling and more volts.
No, the 620 is a 2.6Ghz CPU, meaning anything above 3.2/3.3Ghz will require a bump in voltage. The stock fan is good up to 3.2Ghz, anything over that will result in high temps....
The 620 and the 955 are 2 totally different CPU's ........

Well I said "if it is the same as PII", which I of course know is not. Also, the stock voltage on Phenom II 955 is 1.350, which is sufficient for 3.8.

Everyone here, bear in mind that:
PHENOM IIs HAVE UNLOCKED MULTIPLIERS
ATHLON IIs HAVE NOT!
Hence, max OC in Athlon II should be something lower than PII.
Just because it has an unlocked multiplier doesnt mean it will overclock higher, it just mean its easier. Not all Phenom II's are unlocked either, only the X2 550, X3 720, X4 940, 955, and 965. Its true they have not released any black edition Athlon II's but that doesnt mean they wont clock as high.
