Ok im building a new system i'v bought

Gigabyte EX58-DS4
I7 920 cpu
Corsair 6GB DDR3 1600 MHZ
geFORCE 9800 GX2 BFG
Corsair H50 Cooler

what psu would you say's best for this system
and what case would you use to build

some quality psu, like corsair, enermax, antec, cooler master, power&cooling, at least 550W, preferably 650W. about the case, a lot of them are good, look for cooler master and antec.

it's say's on the box of 9800 gx2 580 watt
is this overall power or just for the card
this will be my first build sorry

ok i think i have a big problem

i have ex58-ds4 which supports ATI 3 WAY crossfireX

but will the nvidia 9800 GX2 run in this board

...a single card will run, no problem.

My recommendation on Power Supply is at 850 watts - this will grow with your system - Also highly recommend the modular system - use the power cords you need, this will keep air flow better in the box. This will cost more money, in the long run, it is worth it and I think you will love the modular system and glad you bought it.
