E8400 overclock p5q pro

Hello,

I am trying to over my e8400 in a p5q pro but i dont know ehy but, my vcore in windows 7 never goes up below 1.23 but in bios a set it up 1.4!!!!! e tryed many diferent voltages in bios and i have all cpu extras disable like C1E and speedstep... i am deseperating. could be because the power suply? LC power 500w.

did you mean in bios 1.43v ?, how much voltage in CPU-Z, how too far different ... ?

did you do a google search before you landed here on the forums? that is an old board and a old processor, I'm sure you can find tonnes of info from google.
