Media centre crashes

when i open windows media centre after installing windows 7 it crashes

make sure you have all the updates...
you can try repairing from the install disk.
Its tough to know whats wrong w/ so little information.
Try removing codec packages (if you have any). Perhaps they are conflicting. I've heard of Divx conflicting with WMC.
