Give an example. Is the error, you can't type in the address bar, or you can type, but it does not connect ? Is a firewall or other security APP blocking the website ?

can connect but suddenly will not connect; no blockage... until recently has been working just fine

If you are typing things into a toolbar you should instead type things directly into the address bar.

It also sounds like you need to check if you have a reliable Internet connection.
