ok, folks, here's my problem

I built my pc on EliteGroup G31T-M Motherboard and bought 1 GB of ram for it. Here are the specifications of the RAM given by Everest

Module Name OCZ OCZ2V8001G
Module Size 1 GB (2 ranks, 4 banks)
Module Type Unbuffered DIMM
Memory Type DDR2 SDRAM
Memory Speed DDR2-800 (400 MHz)
Module Width 64 bit
Module Voltage SSTL 1.8
Refresh Rate Reduced (7.8 us), Self-Refresh

It worked perfectly for me. Recently i bought anoyher stick of RAM. Here are the specifications given by me

Model Name PQI MEAER401LA0109
Memory Type DDR2 SDRAM
Memory Speed DDR2-800
Module Size 1 GB

Separately system recognizes each one on POST screen, but when i insert them together, i get only 1024 mb on POST screen.

P.S. i have 2 DIMM sockets which work nicely, so it's not a socket problem

P.P.S. i can't give the PQI ram specifications by everest because when i insert the stick, the pc boots but it won't go further than the logon screen, so i'll need to reinstall windows
