I'm looking for a monitor that rotates into a portrait orientation or is already in such an orientation. The electronic medical record system that I use is more useful in a portrait orientation, but I don't see any consumer monitors readily in this configuration. Any one have any ideas?

I have two Samsung monitors that can be used in portrait mode, it's done via the graphic card driver software.

Thank you for the reply. Which models do you have? Do you have the monitors physically oriented in a portrait fashion? I'm trying to avoid having to buy a monitor and then mount it on a different monitor stand in portrait orientation. Thanks.

Yep, just get one that comes with a decent stand and any widescreen monitor can be used in portrait mode.

My old dell 2405fpw came with a stand that allowed every movement under the sun and my new HP 2475 also came with such a stand.

Very useful for web viewing. Indeed I won't buy a monitor that doesn't come with a decent stand, it tells you alot about the company or at least in my warped view of things it does.

I have a P2250 & SM225uw both of which are on VESA wall mounts so they can face any direction in any orientation.
