Mouse for desktop

i bought a new keyboard and mouse but all of a sudden i can;t get the mouse to work, i also tried my old mice, not working so i can't use my desktop..any advise

Make sure you are putting the mouse connector in the correct port in the mobo.

Have you tested the mice on a different system to verify that the new system is the problem? Are the mice that are not working USB or PS/2?
