Your best bet would be to get the 9400GT, the 8600GTS might be too much for a 250w PSU. I would highly recommend a PSU upgrade soon too!

Antec is the better brand... Don't get a Rosewell PSU.

250w will be cutting very close. Mfg's normally overstate their requirements to be on the safe side.

imo a 9400gt would b a waste, get a antec earthwatt 380 with a 4850 and call it a day

Hold out on a graphic card upgrade, get a psu upgrade first, and then a graphics card.
you'll just be wasting more money because you will definitely upgrade again in the near future if you are a gamer. a 4670 is a good card, 2x faster than a 9400gt or 8600gt.
same price too.

@ Kiddieboy12: Without a PSU change the HD4650 is the most potent card you should install (it draws less than 48Watts at maximum load).
Also, which CPU does your system have? According to the HP site it hase a 'base' processor that is a AMD X2 4200, if so you should not really be looking at anything more than the HD4670/9600GT/GSO class of card because the CPU will not be able to drive it.

No it does not,WATT's mean VERY LITTLE,expecially with low quallity psu's. but you did your research so you no its about amps RATHER then watts. Also ''Kid'' please learn your stuff be4 making a bullshit post

All these should run on your existing powersupply: 9500/9400/8600/HD4650, anything more (HD4670/9600) is going to overload the PSU, or at least push it to the point where the system becomes unstable.
