Not sure what difference it makes...?

I hope you understand that chips which use copper interconnections are still fabricated on a silicon substrate.

Eventually graphene will replace traditional silicon but that is 10~20 years away.

both are non radioactive elements and are therefore inherintly stable and will remain stable forever.
