GeForce4 MX 4000

i got a nvidia geforce max 4000.... my pc has 4G of ram but it only reads 2G someone told me there's an issue with XP and not being able to read more than 2G.. is this true? or did my ex install this wrong? anyways what i am getting at is i play MMROPG games world of warcraft in particular.. i lag BAD my guildies say my pc should be able to eat WoW but it doesnt... in 10mans i get aprox 4-7fps with alll settings down and 25mans are just impossible these days... healing with 2fps is a nightmare.. anyone have any tips or things i can do to help fix my pc/increase my fps?

i am using windows SP3 and i have 512memory is it? sry i am not very pc smart...

also what are antialiasing settings and anisotropic filtering? will these effect my fps? any reccomended settings?

The MX4000 is an extremely bad card, that's your problem.

32bit XP can only address a total of 4GB of RAM, that includes things like the memory on the video card so it usually ends up being 3.something.

Antialiasing and anisotropic filtering improve image quality but hurt performance.
