Just made a new build with those items, used a clean HDD and loaded windows XP, everything looks to be running fine until i try installing items wether it be from cd or downloaded files. I keep getting a CRC error, does anyone know how i can fix this? or what is causing it? did some research online a little and some suggest it may be RAM?

Test the memory with memtest86+.
Test the hard disk with manufacturer diagnostics.
Did you set the memory voltage to 2.0-2.1v?
