so I'm planning on putting a second video card into my rig, the problem is that the PSU I have only has 2 6-pin PCI-E power cables and the video cards each require 2 cables. Is there anywhere to get a PCI-E splitter so I can turn 2 plugs into 4? (2 splitters)

Antec Nine Hundred
EA650
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2
Intel Core i7 920
12Gb Patriot Viper DDR3 1600MHz
SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X Radeon HD 4890
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
Vigor Monsoon III LT
LG Blu-ray Reader with Super Multi DVDRW

Its not advised, and 2 4890s would be a hell of a load an an EA650, with its 190 w TDP and the 920 you are at the limit, if you want to add a second 4890 you really should upgrade your PSU to a 750TX from corsair or the TP-750 Blue from Antec, either of those two would handle 2 4890s fine, its just that 2 of them on an EA650 is very close. The PSU calculator puts your system at 424 watts, that is with everything at stock, add in a bit of OCing or capacitor aging and you are moving close to its limit which will make it age faster.

Is there a PCI-E molex to PCI-e adapter in your video card's accessory pack?

You may already have them. This is the accessory pack for the SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 4890

thanks for the help guys, and I did check my boxes (after building the computer I put everything aside and forgot what came with everything) and the adapters were there.

Antec's website says that the ea650 will support crossfire, but I guess it said that before the i7s came out. I'll look into a new PSU before I make any final decisions.

thanks again.

Couild they have meant crossfiring two HD 4650s? Or maybe 2 HD 4850s?
I'd go with the recommendations for the Sapphire HD 4890s Crossfire requirements on the Sapphire website. Look under system requirements.

alright, thank you very much, I'm looking into it.
