1 is the new ram much better than the one i chose before/ is it worth buying?
2 the heatspreaders are big, is it enough space when they stand next to the cpu cooler?
3 WILL IT ALL FIT ? :D

are there any alternative to components thats better/equal but cheaper?
gonna buy it 1 august

preffered website for parts : www.microplex.no its norwegian but hope it aint that hard to fint things, heres a quick guide in norwegian:P
datakomponenter = components, hovedkort = motherboard, skjermkort = graphics card, harddisk = hdd, strømforsyninger = psu, minne = ram, kjøling = cooling, kjøling vifter/luft= fans/air.

thanks for help in advance;)

More about first build opinion
  1. swap the cooler and fan for a Noctua NH-U12P SE1366, it cools just as well but is a lot quieter.

and yes the PSU can take two of those cards in SLI but by the time you'll need it, ATi's DX11 cards will have come out, making all DX10/.1 cards somewhat obsolete.

all the other parts fit together right? im abit noobish just wanna be sure ;)
u know how i can check if the cpu is stable when i over clock?
  4. "XFX GeForce GTX 275 670M 896MB GDDR5"

off the GTX 275 description on the site... these are guys are smoking some powerful *** imported from Holland.... dont buy from em... u'll open ur monitor box and find a small CPU cooler in there, instead, etc.... LOL
  5. Use Prime95 or OCCT to stress test the CPU after you overclock, also watch temperatures.
  6. the 5870 should be about US$250, or just a bit more than the GTX 275 costs now.

    okay thanks :)
  10. the site says the GTX 275 uses GDDR5, no NVidia card uses GDDR5.
  11. Pretty sure that motherboard doesn't support SLI so if you don't plan on upgrading to a second 275 later thats fine.

oh k but im not gona buy gtx 275 anyways :=) gonna buy a cheap one and buy dx11 gpu later
  14. it'll be ATi though, nvidia won't come out with a DX11 card until at least April 2010.

ok, np, when does the ati cards come out then `?
  16. considering the reviews the Megahalems has garnered, e.g. @ benchmarkreviews, I would stick with it.
  17. they come out sometime in September or early October

    lol :D
  22. Just to clarify, even though you are not buying a gtx 275, all x58 motherboards support sli, and if I were you I would just take the plunge now. There will always be a better gpu waiting just around the corner...
