Which cpu cooler for first build

price doesnt really matter but concerned about ease of installing this is my first build..noise..and will it fit

so was eying the cm hyper 212 plus and the noctura nh-d14

i think the nh-d14 is better but heres my questions about it

will it fit with these components

and whats the best thermal compound to use with this and method to apply for both i know they should be done differently since on the cm the pipes are on the bottom

The Hyper 212 is an excellent choice. I wouldn't recommend the crazy multi-fan setups like the D14 or the Silver Arrow for first-timers. The thing I'd look at if you want ease of use is a one-piece fan like the ones Zalman, Cooler Master, and Thermaltake make. Check some of these out:
