I was using 2WIRE GATEWAY MODEM but suddenly it is defected. ATT is trying to sell me a new modem but I am not a happy camper to purchase a new modem at more than 80 bucks. I have a SB5101 Motorola Modem from when I had COX service. Can I use that modem to connect?

Isn't AT&T DSL Service? If it is, the SB5101 only works with Cable Internet service.
