I instructed DirecTivo to record all episodes of the Mets Wishlist with
the following options:
Keep At Most: All episodes
Show Type: First run only (don't want the repeats of the games)
Stop Recording: 1 hour longer (to catch extra inning games)
This didn't work at all. It didn't catch any of the live games, but did
include a load of other stuff such as "Mets Spring Training Report"
(with all the numerous repeats). I tried changing "Show Type" to
"Repeats & first run", but no success. I carefully checked for
conflicts, but there were none. I even moved the auto-recording
Wishlist to the top of the Season Pass list, but that didn't catch any
of the games.
So, I changed the Wishlist to "Show Type/Event & Mets" (and did the same
for the other teams' Wishlists), with the same recording options as
noted above.
Success! Next, I went to the Nets Wishlist, set it up exactly the same
way, then told DirecTivo to auto-record it. But, this didn't work:
none of the Nets games were scheduled to record. There are no conflicts
between the Mets and Nets games.
After some experimentation, I determined that DirecTivo will only
auto-record those shows from the *first* auto-recording Wishlist; i.e.,
if I delete the Mets Wishlist, then the Nets games will record. But, if
I then add the Mets Wishlist, those Mets games will not record!
Is this a bug in the software? If so, is the bug addressed in the new
software (which I haven't yet gotten - I have a Philips DSR704 running
3.1.1e-01-2-301). Also, if a bug, is there a workaround I could use
until the software is upgraded?
If this *isn't* a bug, what am I doing incorrectly?
