HI I HAVE A COMCAST MODEM HOOKED UP TO A LINKSYS BROADBAND ROUTER, I WILL GET ON MY INTERNET EXPLORER AND THEN ABOUT 15 MIN ON THE INTERNET MY INTERNET CUTS OUT FOR ABOUT 3MIN, THE ROUTER SAYS IT HAS SIGNAL AND ON MY COMPUTER THE STRENGTH IS AWSOME BUT ITS STILL CUTTING OUT!!!!!!

It may be because you have the caps lock buttong stuck down - sorry couldn't resist.

I take it you have a wirless setup, try bypassing the router - connect modem direct to PC and see if the same issue happens.

If it does, contact ISP for poor service or replacment modem

if not - you have an issue with the router

Ok, try the stuff above first to test the modem but you can also try this. Do you loose wireless connectivity on your computer or is it just the browsing on the web that stops ? if so can you ping other machines on your network or even the router from your pc when it happens ? for the first test you can try to lower the MTU value on your router to something below 1500, I would start at 1450 and keep going down to 1400. If it still doesn't work below this value then it's something else with the wireless setup. cheers.
