I have been using AMD for three years now since its 32 bit processors. now that I am done with my dual core AMD processor. I am planning to buy a new rig of quad-core.

Now I am having some second thoughts of using AMD now, are there people here in toms that recommends AMD for quad-core experience?

thanks

There's no particular reason not to. If you aren't afraid of it burning out, (there have been scattered problems), an i5 750 would be faster. If your price range is below a 750, go AMD.

intels high end quads destroy amds. that is really the only reason. i would go amd quad for now until i see what 32nm brings from both.
