Hey everyone. I was just wondering where my temps should be for my HD 4830. I recently installed a gpu monitoring gadget, and under full load my gpu reaches 69-70 degrees celsius. That seems pretty hot to me! I dont think that it is a problem, because I have been running it this way for quite some time now (3-4 months). But I just want to know what a safe temperature range for this card would be. Thanks!

it is not an issue, they are designed to run at much higher temps than that. Also the fan will increase in speed the reduce the temp of the card if it is getting too hot.

Allright, I just made a new discovery with a Furmark stress test. Under full load for several minutes it reaches a maximum of 79 degrees celsius. Is that still ok? or should I look into some aftermarket cooling? btw prwnage93, thank you for your speedy response! your input is much appreciated!

wow. I honestly thought I had going wrong. Thank you! Do you by chance know the temperature where I should be concerned? I was thinking of maybe doing some overclocking, what number should I stay under?
