Total cost of 955 system is about $1415 while i7 system is $1535, both including tax and shipping and handling.

I also just discover I'm about an hour away from Microcenter (which I just heard about yesterday) and might be selling somethings cheaper there.

And one more note: sorry about the huge range of buying time. I basically need it before college start, so I have until the end of August, but the sooner the better would help too.

Thank you for that tip. I definitely go to Microcenter to check.

And if I finally decide and choose the 955, I'll also switch to that combo.
