Hi,

Thanks to eBay I have in my hands the following CPU

e2200 at 2.2 GHz FSB 800
e6300 at 1.8 GHz FSB 1066 (the 1.8 Ghz is the 2006 version)

Benchmark results seem the same so which one should I install ?

Will the higher FSB make it easier to Overclock?

If your overclocking, the E2200 will be easier because of its 11x multiplier vs the E6300 multiplier of 7x. But the E2200 only has 1mb L2 cache vs 2mb on the E6300. If the E2200 can get a good OC over the E6300, that will be your best bet, but the only way to know is like WR2 said, install them both, OC them, and bench them both. Then make your decision.

There are natural variations in how well individual CPUs run and overclock.
Run your own benchmarks, and choose the best CPU.
