if you're getting an i7 build then at least get a decent PSU (try antec, PCP&C, OCZ's Z-series, corsair) and get a nice board from Gigabyte or ASUS.

for your psu I'd recommend a Corasir 750 w from newegg

and for your graphics card, I have a brand new GTX 275 on ebay starting at 165 dollars which is a 45 dollar difference from the cheapest retail GTX 25

I got the board as part of a package. It was a really good price. Are the Asus ones that much better than the intel?

Would using that powersupply have a chance of damaging anything?

very slim chance...corsair psus are known for their dependency, and that power supply is more than enough for a single GTX 275

Reply to cartmanclone

the rocketfish power supply has a decent chance if you get it near its rated limits.

As for the ram check out this triple channel kit from OCZ

Ok thanks, Im actually swapping the case for the nine hundred two tonight. And I am going to go with a different powersupply. I have been recomended antec or corsair. I eventually wanted to add another 275. Around what size powersupply should I go with for that?

750 watts should be sufficient for 2 GTX275's

The only other thing I have been trying to look up and find info on is a wireless adapter. I have a d-link DIR-655 Router. What is a good Wireless adapter?

get a different mobo, the only reason to get an Intel one is when they did that deal where you got a 920 and an intel mobo for $300.

The motherboard processor and vista i got a real good deal on. Thats why I was going to use it.

I ordered everything the other night. It should be here wednesday. Thanks for all the help on here with the changes that I made. Ill let everyone know how it turned out after it is all up and running.

Everything is together and working good. I do have one question though. Other than Call of Duty World at War most games seem to get like lines going across the screen. Almost like it is seperating and the whole screen isn't moving together from left to right. This happens especially in Far Cry 2 but also in Crysis, and Crysis Warhead.

What should the temps for the graphics card be running at? They are getting up into the 80's right now, but it seems like the fan speed on the card doesnt increase unless I do it manually before I start playing a game.

The precessor seems to be staying in the low 50's.

The RAM is also running at only 1066. Any information on fixing this. I have never dealt with adjusting anything in the RAM before.

Turn v-sync on, i had that on crysis too v-sync fixed it. Set the speed and timings for the ram manually in bios.

Try turning the fan speed up, most cards are safe up to about 90 but you want to try to keep it well below that.

grr im so jealous right now lol. im still waiting on my 1500 dollar check to get here to order mine :(

Ill try v-sync tonight. Right now I have everything on a 50 inch panasonic plasma tv.

Reply to mricci

I have everything working pretty good now. The processor is overclocked to 3.8ghz and i found out i just have to manually adjust the fans on the card because they were not speeding up. So far I am very happy with the build. Only thing i want to change is eventually upgrade to a ssd for the the os and games.
