I'm looking to build a new pc it will be used mostly for the internet, downloading, music, movies and the odd bit of gaming, the cheaper the better!

How does the following look, any compatabiity issues or recommendations etc??

You need more power than that corsair and you dont want to get a random brand like axp, i would suggest this PSU it will be sufficient for a 4850

Also if you swap the ram out for this kit the system will perform better as it is faster and will enable dual channel for better bandwidth

Apart from your two suggestions how does everything else look?? Is it all compatabl etc???

Do I need to buy thermal paste for the the Phenom II X3???

the heatsink should come with some already applied, everything else is compatible
