Intel motherboard D915GVBW

I have a Intel mother board with a Bios version number which does not appear on the Intel site, I can find Bios version numbers eaith side of it but not the one I have. Its important to mention this as I cannot get the Bios to change or update.
I have tried Iflash from msdos and it get to the end and says successful but on reboot I find the Bios has not changed. I have tried the pure image bio from floppy again its ok until reboot and again the Bios has not changed.
I have tried windows method and again apart from the report saying completed on reboot it has not changed. It does seem as if my Intel board wil not update to latest Bios.
Intel do not answer my emails so has anyone any idea on how to upodate my Bios.?

Yes I have tried doing whilst removing Jumper & battery and power as well.

I have to ask why you want to update the bios? If you're having problems now, you might end up with a dead board if flashing doesn't finish. If you can't afford another board, I wouldn't do it unless you're having problems. That particular chipset won't run the newer cpus.
