Just bought new gigabyte mobo

my question is i just bought this and i just noticed on the memory standard it says ddr2 1066 does that mean my 800 ram wont work with this board

Stop worrying! Your DDR2 800 memory should work fine in the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard. The Gigabyte website says this motherboard supports 800 MHz memory.

Besides, "There ain't no such thing as DDR2-1066 RAM." Got your attention now, yes?
DDR2-1066 RAM is simply DDR2-800 RAM that has been tested to run at the higher speed, usually at an increased voltage and more relaxed timings.
