PC boots fine but no video

I was woring on a "dirty install" of Windows XP Home (done this before). I turned the monitor off while it was installing & after a bit I turned it back on with nothing! I hit reset, pc boots up with the same BIOS beeps (1 for boot & 2 for my USB mouse & keyboard). No video AT ALL not even BIOS!

-I've reset my memory & video card

-I haven't reset the BIOS yet

Specs:

PSU: Antec EarthWatts 650w

Video Card: Asus GeForce 9600

MoBo: MSI K9A2 Platinum

(Need any other specs let me know)

Now I know I still need to reset the BIOS just to see if that fixes it but, if it doesn't is there anything else I can do to narrow down the issue? Thank you.

Try a different video card/monitor.
