Hello all,
I have been researching, planning, and saving for the new build for awhile and am finally ready to go forward with it all. I just wanted to run in by the community first to get some last minute suggestions, or to spot foreseeable problems I may have missed. Thanks all.
Here it is
Mobo:
ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
RAM:
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Western Digital Black 640gig
(Don't think anyone here should need a link for that one)
PSU:
CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I was also considering the SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100269VXLE Radeon HD 4890 1GB

Ten more dollars for a quieter card, but currently the xfx is neweggs top rated 4890 and with the smart fan controller on it, I figured it would only get load when I am gaming and not hearing it anyways. All other fans, heatsink, etc are silents.
I was trying to stick mostly to newegg top rated/customer approved items and made sure to get RAM from Asus' QVL. The whole thing, monitor and everything included is running me about 1300$. My goal is a decent price with tons of room to upgrade. Whaddaya think??
Thanks in advance for your input,
Mike D.

Nice, I don't know how I missed that RAM, not a bad deal for a few extra bucks.

And of course, the system is core i7 920. For which i got the best combo deal of all, my friend's Intel Big Deal. 920, windows ultimate, and windows 7 upgrade for $130! ..the only reason this thing isnt exceeding 1300$
