Gateway P-7811FX red ripple in the black color screen

I have the same problem and have no idea what it is? everything that is supposed to be black is red and i try to reset the settings and it just goes back???
If you find anyhing please reply back???

IS that why it is all red? i just got this computer and how do i fix it?

I know it's a big no-no to reply to an old post, but I had the same problem. I re-seated the video cable (located under the multimedia panel) and that cleared up the problem. Not sure if that will work for you, but it's a pretty simple fix.
