I have recently ordered parts for a freinds new build.

I ordered all the parts, and after much thought I chose this PSU.

He had £300 to spend and I have a spare 7900GS to give him until he has the money for a better GPU

I am now having second thoughts about this PSU, as I don't actually know the power consumption for the card.

Will it be enough to power the entire system? Specs as follows (rough, im at work and the site i need is not on the white list)

Processor: AMD Athlon II 245, 2.9Ghz
Mobo: Asus 720 Geforce Chipset AM2+ Mobo (ATX)
RAM: 4GB Geil Black Dragon 800mhz CL5
GPU: Palit 7900GS 256mb
HDD: 320GB WD something or other xD
PSU: 400W OCZ Fatality
Case: Dont know the exact name, but it has 2x 80mm fans and a 120mm fan built in.

Thanks alot for the reply mate, my worries are gone now. The system should arrive tommorow.

By the way, its off topic for this forum, but how does the 7900GS stand up to games like WoW, CS: Source, UT2K4?

I use the OCZ 400w Fatality for a few months now with no problem on my HTPC. This was a temporary replacement for my PCP &C 610w when it developed problems. I left the OCZ 400w in this system:

E6600 C2D
ASUS 965 micro MB
8 GB PC2 6400
Vista 64
9600GT
Creative X-Fi sound
Three SATA HD's
DVD-RW
5.1 speakers
Wireless adapter
40" HD Samsung

The system is even Oc'ed. Hope it don't blow.

I got this unit on a special at NE for like $25 after rebate.
