I have a CD burner on my new build..ASUS Black SATA 24x DVD Burner
I want to view dvd's (movies, etc) on my computer what are some inexpensive but reliable players. I looked around, but maybe someone has something better.

Really confused by your post.
All you need to play a dvd on your computer is a DVD drive and software. If you already have that ASUS DVD drive then that will do fine. Any DVD drive will suit your needs.
In terms of software I'd recommend using VLC as it plays DVDs as well as plenty of other video formats.
