Normal cpu temp phenom 9950 be

hi all have same problem with overheating
have phenom quad core 2.6hz black edition paired to asus m3a78 motherboard
motherboard temerature is fine 29-35 c

but cpu goes up to 64 after 10-15 minutes of gaming
i polished surfaces of cooler and procesor and its still the same what to do anyone help

I had an overheating issue with this CPU. The stock cooler that comes with it in my opinion, is not adequate. Good for dual-cores but not for quads. I ended up buying a beefy Zalman cooler. Instead of 65c then BSOD, I get a steady 48c at full load.

Recommend a new cooler.
