Core i3 CPUs details emerge

Intel is planning to launch two core i3 CPUs next January.

Core i3 530 - 2.93 GHz - $113
Core i3 540 - 3.06 GHz - $133

Both have 4MB cache, 733 MHz GPU and 73W TDP. Hyperthreading is supported while turbo is not.

The question is - Will these CPUs provide enough performance to be considered above the recent Athlon II X4 and X3 processors who have lower processor and platform costs?
