I hope this is the right section to post this.

After having this processor for almost a year I decided to finally try and unlock the 2 extra cores it sometimes comes with. I went into bios, enables "extra cores" and set "Advanced Clock Calibration" to "All Cores." This successfully unlocked 2 extra cores in the cpu. But I ran into a problem when I tried to check the temperature:

It isn't detecting the cpu temperature. I tried reinstalling HWMonitor but the problem persisted. I'm going to switch it back to default settings until I can figure out what's going on.

So there is no way to monitor the temperature? Because I don't want it to get too hot without me knowing and get damaged.

By the way, I just switched back to default settings so that I could see the temperature. The two cores were idling at 42 degrees
