CDROM Autodetect

hi everybody! i'm having a little trouble with my cdrom. i checked in the "device mgr" and everything is ok. but here's what happens. when i put in an audio cd, instead of media player automatically playing the music, the cdrom folder comes up with "track01.cda, track02.cda etc... etc! ohh i also checked my computer> audio cd> properties> autoplay... and everything is set correctly! is there something in the registry thats wrong. i know 1's and 0's are actually yes and no but i don't know which is which... if you could tell me that too that would be great! thank you!!!
