Dell Dimension 4700C

I currently have a Dell PC- Dimension 4700C with the original CPU, however it is really slow. How do I upgrade the original CPU for faster CPU?

identify what socket u have go to dell's site and find out

buy a proc that is faster in that same socket

open ur case and replace it

or go to the manual and dell's website and don't expect easy answers here, nobody else would have given u an answer
