Hello,
I have windows 7 64-bit.
6 GB 1333 DDR3 RAM
HD 4550
Core i3 550 (3.20 Ghz)

I just downloaded the Ati overdrive file. When i install it , and then restart my PC , then i get the BSOD and my PC just keeps on restarting and failing continously. I know this because to fix it , i have to uninstall it using Safe Mode. (done this about 4 times now)

Any way to get overdrive to work and not get the BOSD ?

I haven't even used it. I just install it and then restart.

I'm guessing here but i will recommend you to install all your mobo's drivers before you install the vga driver, the main reason o BSOD in this case is the lack of proper driver installation, the one's that came embedded aren't good, they are here just to make the system work the first time so you can install the one's supplied by the board manufacture.

Hope i helped.

try removing all ati software with driver sweeper in safe mode running it as admin then do your reinstall of the latest ati drivers found on the ati website, After all your motherboard drivers are installed. I have ran into the same issues and this always fixes it
