Whats ur take? is it worth it? im using it for games and browsing most of the time. im currently using the e5300 right now clocked at 3.6ghz @ stock volt.

~Would the 1mb xtra cache of the E7500 make a noticeable difference? (2mb vs. 3mb)~

mobo: Gigabyte G31M-ES2C
ram : 2x2gb ddr2 800 cl6 (2x KVR800D2N6/2G)
vc : GTS 250 512mb
monitor: 1440x900
hdd : seagate 250gb 7200.10
cpu cooler: OCZ Vanquisher

i thought about upgrading because for $20 bucks, i think it's quite a bargain thinking that the price diff of the 2 processors is more than $40.

You would need a very good benchmark to tell the difference.

so, ur saying it's not worth it; the difference is negligible?

It's not worth your time, trouble or $$ to do that minor upgrade.
