Trying to see if anyone still has (or had) this motherboard and how much overclocking they were able to get out of it with stock cooling.
MSI 975X Platinum Power-up Edition (V2)
4GB Crucial RAM (DDR2 667 dual channel)
Intel Core2Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz (LGA775 65W)
Systems running Windows XP
motherboard Bios version 7.7 (which according to the MSI program is the most up to date even though i saw a version 7.9 on their site)

The question is that i have been reading about overclocking this motherboard by raising the FSB. I saw people posting up numbers like 360 and 385 for the FSB but i don't know how they got it to work. I tried 360 and the PC will not even start (PC running but nothing comes up on screen). I am currently at 300 with a slight increase in CPU and ram voltage so mine states that it is now running at 2.4 per core rather than the stock 2.13.

So has anyone pushed it up further on stock cooling without a problem. If so please put up some settings i could try.
