Is there any way to assign a single process to a single processor in Quad Core

Is there any way to assign a single process to a single processor in Quad Core 2 ?

Open task manager -> Processes tab -> Right click on the process -> Set Affinity -> Check the threads you want it to use.

I don't think this is saved after the process has terminated and restarted so you'll have to repeat the process. I haven't come across any information on how to set this permanently for a given process.
