Cf6950 and amd1100t vs amd965? performance?

my current setup is cf6950 on asus crosshair 3 mobo with amd 965@3.91, I want to upgrade to the six core 1100t, will this help my fps in games, is it worth it? will I have to flash my motherboard bios? is this a good upgrade? my cards are the hd6950 2gb cards, and I'm running a triple eyefinity setup if this helps.

i dont think you will really notice any difference. the games wont utilize the other cores.

save up and go sandy bridge or wait for the bulldozers if you want to have a noticeable difference.

even then, your card is a beast, so i am sure its running at max anyway.
