please help i was on my desk top computer and all of a sudden it turned black and said operating system not found than i tried to reinstall windxp disk it went to setup and said cant continiue because hard drive not installed what do i do to reinstall my hard drive please any help appreciated tammy

Check you power and cable connections to the hard drive. With the power cord to your computer unplugged from the wall, remove and replace each cable attached to the back of the hard drive. You may also want to follow the data cable to its connection on the motherboard and remove and replace that, too. Then plug in the power cord from the wall and restart your computer.
