MCE ERROR

Hello, I bought a used computer with MCE preinstalled in it, well it was working just fine. The next day it said I needed updates from the microsoft site. I downloaded an installed the updates, but now my TV tuner card does not work. I'm running WIN XP MCE ver: 2002 SP3, but when I go to the MCE program it says "WIN XP MCE 2004 ver: 5.1.2600.5512 (xpsp.080414-0845)". I bought a really cool keyboard that has all the MCE features, but I can't watch TV anymoye. When I go to "my tv" and try to set it up I get an error that says " Application has generated an exception that could not be handled. Process id=0x18b0 (6320), Thread id=0x1d3c (7484). Click OK to terminate or CANCEL to debug". When I try to debug it say "Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an eror code of 0x2 (2). Please check computer settings" Can some please help me? I want to watch tv on my pc... thank you for your time.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

See if System Restore will take those updates out and if it won't, uninstall them one at a time and try to watch TV after each has gone until you find the one that blocks your programme.
